How to make the film you want
You make a uscale film by talking to a director in a chat. These guides show each step with screenshots, and give you the prompts that work: copy one, fill in the part in angle brackets, and send it.
Getting started
How uscale worksFrom your website to a finished film: the director, the storyboard you approve, and the render.
Start a film the right wayThe first message that gets the director to read your product, ask the right questions and propose a storyboard before it spends anything.
Approve the storyboardHow to read the director's storyboard, change it in the chat, and give the go that starts the film.
Credits and billingWhat uses credits, what is free, how to top up, and what happens when a step fails.
Giving the director what it needs
Give the director your brief or documentsAttach a launch brief, positioning or customer quotes so the film says what you would say.
Show your app behind a loginLet the director film screens that need a sign-in, including SSO and two-factor.
Use a private GitHub repositoryConnect GitHub read-only so the director can read a private repository and plan the film from the code.
Editing a film
Change one thing and keep the restThe film is nearly right: change one moment by its time, and every other scene, word and timing stays.
Keep the visuals, change only the voiceoverYou like the pictures but not what the voice says: rewrite the narration over the same scenes.
Make it longer or shorter, same lookThe length is wrong but the film is right: stretch or tighten the scenes you already approved.
See other styles before you decideAsk the director for three stylistic concepts in a few lines each, then pick one before anything is made.
Fewer pauses, tighter pacingThe voice waits too long between lines: tighten the film so the narration keeps going.
Make the voice say a name rightThe voice mispronounces your product or company name: tell it how the name sounds.
