Start from a video you love, and get yours made the same way

Paste a video you like, or upload one. uscale measures its pace, motion, transitions and music, and makes your film in that rhythm, in your own brand and words.

Most people know the video they want because they have already seen it: a launch reel that never sits still, an ad with the right pace. Paste it, and uscale makes yours the same way, about your product, in your brand.

Fieldnote, an example product: made from a reference video. Its pace, motion and transitions follow the reference; the screens, words and colours are Fieldnote's own.

How it works

  1. Paste a link or upload the file. A video in an X or LinkedIn post, a link to an .mp4 file, or a video from your computer.
  2. uscale studies it. It reads the reference shot by shot: where it cuts and how long a shot holds, how much of the picture moves, how it changes scene (a push through, a shape that grows into the next scene, a flash, a straight cut), how its words enter and leave, whether it has a voice, and the tempo and energy of its music.
  3. Your film, in that rhythm. The director writes your film from your own site, with your product, your words, your colours and your logo, and moves it the way the reference moves. The music is written for your film at the reference's tempo, with an intro, a lift and an ending on your last card.
  4. Checked against the reference. Before you see it, your film's pace and motion are measured beside the reference's. A film that stands still where the reference moves goes back to be fixed.

Questions

Which videos can I use as a reference?

A video in an X or LinkedIn post, a direct link to an .mp4 file, or a video file you upload (MP4, MOV or WebM).

Does my film copy the reference?

No. It takes the reference's style: its pace, motion, transitions and tempo. Everything you see and hear about your business comes from your own site and your brand.

What if the reference has no voiceover?

Then your film has none either: the words are on screen, and the music carries it.

What does it cost?

Studying the reference costs 3 credits, on top of the film itself. Every price is on the pricing page, and your first video is free.
